HSS technology —
a new standard of
conversion depth
High Speed Separation is an engineering package for deep processing of crude feedstock into AI-92/95 gasoline, diesel, kerosene, naphtha and fuel oil.
The core of the process is high-speed stabilisation separators that split feedstock selectively, using gas-dynamic effects with staged cooling and evaporation.

Classical revamp versus HSS
| Parameter | Classical revamp | HSS technology |
|---|---|---|
| Capital expenditure | High — new columns and pumps | Low — modification of existing equipment |
| Implementation time | 24–36 months | 6–9 months, within a scheduled turnaround |
| Diesel yield | Baseline +5–7% | Increase of 10–15% |
| Environmental effect | Standard emission reduction | Significant cut in NOx and sulphur oxides |
| Plant downtime | Long shutdown for construction | Minimal, within maintenance window |
| Product standard | Requires full hydrotreater replacement | K5 / Euro-5, sulphur below 10 ppm |

| Indicator | Classical | HSS |
|---|---|---|
| Administrative and technical headcount | 100% | up to 50% |
| Steel structures, utilities, foundations | 100% | up to 65% |
| Equipment, machinery, materials | 100% | up to 65% |
| Energy consumption | 100% | up to 50% |
| Total site area | 100% | up to 40% |
| Time to steady-state operation | 100 hours | 18 hours |
